1.考点：用来引导结果状语从句

要注意区别和so that 所引导的目的状语从句的区别

2.必背例句：

The noise outside was so big that we couldnt hear what the teacher said.

外面的噪音太吵了，以至于我们都听不清老师说的话了。

Kate was so angry that she couldnt say a word.

凯蒂太生气了，以至于她都不能说话了。

The food is so bad in the school cafeteria that flies go there to lose weight.

我们学校食堂饭菜质量太差，连苍蝇都去那儿减肥了。

3.扩展：

不要受汉语思维的影响，把这里的so改成了very或too,比如上句话我们不能说：

The food is too/very bad in the school cafeteria that flies go there to lose weight.
